Situated just outside the centre of De Koog, hotel Ouwe Dijkstra is within walking distance of the forest, beach and dunes. Being the tourist centre of Texel island, the town offers a wealth of activities. Texel is a beautiful place to enjoy a day of cycling and walking or simply lounging on the beach. Mainland Den Helder is easily reached by ferry and island hopping over the Wadden islands is also possible. The hotel offers basic double rooms and can host groups up to 24 people.

Hotel-Café Ouwe Dijkstra is located in the entertainment centre of the seaside resort De Koog. This cosy brown-café is open daily, all year round and is an excellent place to go to for an early morning cup of coffee and paper, or for a late night local drink or a nicely priced shooter. When the weather is nice and sunny you can also sit outside on the terrace. Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel. In case you don't have your own laptop, you are welcome to use the computer at the café, also free of costs.

Breakfast will be served downstairs in the café from 09:00 till 10:30. In the summer it's possible to eat outside and enjoy the sun on the terrace.
