Hotel Van Den Hogen has 5 luxurious rooms. Most rooms have a beautiful view of the IJsselmeer. The rooms include color TV and the bathroom facilities include a shower and toilet. Our restaurant offers a la carte and is very well known in Volendam and the environment. From the hotel you can have a delicious walk along the ijsselmeer and you have the opportunity to rent a bike or making a boat trip to Marken. Golf course Purmerend, a 45 holes champions course is located only a few kilometers from the hotel.

Our restaurant is situated in the center of the Volendammer harbour, with a magnificent view across the IJsselmeer, nearby the fish auction. It is here that fishing boats sail from and dock throughout the day. Watching the fresh eel and perch that they have caught being publicly sold is an interesting experience. Our à la-carte restaurant is more than 75 years old and has been the local and international meeting point for the real fish-lovers. Many local and foreign celebrities have visited us for the well known specialties for which Van den Hogen is known. The changing seasonal dishes are being appreciated hugely by the guests. The ambiance, coziness, hospitality and quality make a visit to our restaurant more than worth the effort.
